I’ve been asked to make a guest post on this website, even though I don’t know the first thing about makeup. Firstly, I’m a man who doesn’t wear any makeup. Secondly, my spouse doesn’t wear any makeup either. I guess the website owner just wanted me to write a post because of my awesome writing skills.
Oh, and possibly because I own a beauty salon. I manage the place, but I don’t actually have any knowledge of makeup and beauty. It’s probably starting to sound like a money-laundering scheme or something, but I have a good reason for owning a business that I have little personal interest in. I just can’t tell you what it is.
Anyway, the other day I was discussing with my business partner (who does actually know about beauty) the benefits of solar power for business. I think it’s time we switch to solar because it’s better for the environment and could save us money in the long-term. My business partner doesn’t necessarily agree. That was when a customer walked up to us and asked if someone would like to write a guest blog post for her beauty tutorial website.
Now, you’d obviously think my business partner would be the better choice for the job, but unfortunately, he’s completely illiterate. So the job was left to me, even though I really should be researching the best commercial solar around Melbourne. I don’t mind writing something, although I’m not really sure what to talk about. That’s why I’m kind of rambling and recounting here, hoping to reach my target word count soon, so I can go back to selling… things that are perfectly legal.
Somehow I’ve got to write another fifty-odd words, but I’ve run out of things to say. Anyway, thank you to Allison for visiting my salon and reaching out with this opportunity.
